"What a cute little coffee shop that we were fortunate enough to have less than a block from our lodging spot! I highly recommend everyone that is nearby, or not, to stop by and try out the delicious drinks and pastries there. First off, the owner is such a personable and fun person that also bakes all the pastries in the morning. Make sure to check out the Instagram page to see what is going to be made that day. Yes, the menu changes day by day. How cool! I highly recommend the scones. They are without doubt some of the best scones I’ve ever had. I had a chai and a black tea there and they were both wonderfully made with perfect balance of the ingredients."

"Had a nice latte while walking around town. Easy to buy and get going. Close to Pittock Mansion and it might be a good idea to have a coffee before going up hill for city skyline viewing."

"Just moved to the area, and have only been here a few times. But I know I can say that out of all the coffee shops that I've tried in NW, Sunny Day has got to be my favorite. The gentleman who works in the little stand is so very kind and quick with his work! The coffee comes out tasty and hot before I even get to pay. He knows what he's doing. I love the vibe this little stand brings, it's cozy, it's good priced, and actually tastes good (compared to these $7 performative coffees you can get just a few blocks down), and it's welcoming. I have yet to try the pastries, but I am looking forward to it. Definitely recommend and will be coming back many more times."

"Great variety in drinks and foods. Have enjoyed every drink I have tried so far. My favorite treat so far was the leek and cheese scone, it was top notch for sure 11 out of 10. The gent that runs the place is a peach as well."

"So many allergen friendly and vegan options! The barista was very knowledgeable about the menu and so kind too. The Scone was one of the best I’ve had!"

"A cute little walk up coffee shop on the fringes of the alphabet district! There is very limited outdoor seating, but this location truly shines for its convenience for those traveling by foot. Pro tip: I purchased the gluten free pumpkin muffin and was totally blown away by how delicious and perfectly cooked it was. I’ll for sure be going back to see if they have more"
